Bats and Wrinkles!!!

Well, lastnight we were in the pool late since daddy didn't get home till about 7 pm.  So we get into the pool after we eat dinner, and the sun went down and it got dark.  Then we lit the tikis on fire by the pool, and continued to swim.  After a few minutes we started to see bats swooping down to eat the insects that were attracted to the fire. The kids thought it was so cool to see the bats swooping down.  So we watched them for a while, and listened to them make chirping noises. Then Nessie piped up and said "Mom, Grandma and Grandpa can come watch the bats flying too while they swim in our pool huh." I said "sure hon, when they come to visit they can come in and watch the bats too." Nessie then said, as she held up her fingers "But then Grandma and Grandpa will get all pruny and wrinkly like me." Nessie paused for a min and then just so innocently said "it's OK though mom, cause they are already pruny and wrinkled".  Will and I couldn't stop laughing it was so funny.

Isn't it cute how kids think like that, and then just say what's on their mind.  I love my kids.  They keep me laughing all the time.
