Daily Life Day Two...

Well today started off really well. Will decided he would take the kids to school for me for the first time, and so I was able to take another shower in the morning to warm up. I got too cold last night, and so I had to stand under the hot water for about 20 min to warm back up. My body is weird that way ever since the surgery. Now I know why mom would always walk around the house huddled into herself shivering saying she was cold, and she had on socks a sweatshirt, and sweat pants. I am now doing the same thing. Go figure. Must be a sign of old age. :-) Sorry Mom.

Then after my shower I ate a really nutritious breakfast (NOT!) of Ramen Noodles. Ask anyone in my family I always eat strange things for breakfast.

I then went outside and walked down the street to work. It was FREEZING cold outside. It was about 40 degrees outside. Needless to say I have broken out the winter wear. But it was a nice walk, woke up all my senses, and cleared my head for the day. It was nice to have some alone time.
This is the back side of the building I work in. This is the Pharmacy School/Med School. This is just a tiny tiny part of Creighton. The campus is extensive.

After walking to work, I always cross into these doors. This is the Creighton Medical Copy Center where I have a small space to do the Graphic Designing. Hate the space, but LOVE the flexibility and hours, and the people I work with. This is what I see everyday. Basically a Kinkos or Office Depot.

This is me waiting for a copy job to get off my printer so I can print out some of my stuff that people always says is a "RUSH" job, and they needed it like yesterday. You then do the job, and put it on the shelf. Email them that it is done, and then it sits there for a day or two. It never ceases to amaze me what people call URGENT.
This is my little area. I usually use both computers simultaneously, but someone else was using one of them today since theirs was on the fritz. And here I am back at home with the kids after I had taken my midterm. I did quite well, and am sure I aced it. Here are the kids with the little things Grandma and Grandpa Larsen sent to them for Halloween. I wish I could have snapped the camera out faster to get their reaction to seeing a package with their names on it. You would have though Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and any other huge holiday was today. They were so excited, and were jumping up and down yelling. It was so fun to see how happy it made them.

Then, I decided since I did so well on my midterms, and I haven't killed anyone in the process of studying for them that I would treat myself to a pedicure. So here it is. The nails are DK. Blue glitter, almost black. I did it for Halloween. Didn't want to pay any extra for artwork. I know I know I'm cheap! What can I say.
So there you have it. My day. It is now 8pm and I'm off to bed, since I am getting up at midnight to drive to IL to get Grandma Corrinne. The kids are way excited. So I guess I will be posting later tomorrow. Good Night! All in all I'd say it was a pretty ordinary but good day.
