Vanessa the Crazy Driver
*** Oh and if you are wondering about the writing on their arms, we wrote their full names, our name and my cell phone number in permanent marker on their arms so that in case they did get lost, someone could call me in the park, and I could come and get them.  I got so many compliments on how smart I was for doing this, and a few mommies even asked if I had the permanent marker with me...which I did...and wrote on their kids' arms as well.  Made me feel good, like I was really a responsible adult...which was the only time...since I was enjoying being a kids the rest of the trip.
Sabrina is ready to run you over

Thank goodness these guys can't really drive for another few years

This was what we had every night upon request...each kids had homemade chili in a sourdough bread bowl, and will and I shared a clam chowder in a bread bowl.  After about the 4th night I was glad to be home eating veggies.

Getting our princess on......

Even More Disney....

Before Tea Cup Ride - No energy....

After Tea Cup ride...all woken up and ready to party for the day!!!

The obligatory "Disney Hats"

Even Mom got one..and I wore it every day we were there.

Isaac didn't see that one coming.

Vanessa as the Spider Queen at the private Halloween Party we attended.

Sabrina as the Butterfly Princess.

Isaac as the Dragon Slayer.
And then here is just a small taste of the "upgrade" on the ride Pirates of the Caribbean. This is a screen of smoke that the boats ride through and before you go through the mist, "Davey Jones" magically appears to you in the smoke.  It is quite awesome to see.  We must have ridden this ride about 15 times.  The kids loved it, and I liked it since I could sit for a little while.  Overall we had a marvelous time, and so much fun.  We really didn't have to wait too long in lines either, since it wasn't too busy, however during this Private Halloween party we went to, we just walked onto any ride we wanted to.  There were absolutely no lines.  It was awesome.

More Disney...

Here are three of the photos that are snapped of you while you ride a ride.  The faces on these are great.  Sorry that they are grainy...they are a pic of a tv screen.

We got soaked on Splash Mountain.

Vanessa was ready on this one...all covered up.

This one was Space Mountain, and Sabrina was crying hysterically the entire time, and then for 5 min after the ride was over.

DISNEY LAND

Well, we got back from Disney and, and let me tell you...I have a new found respect and love for my two Parents.  Here I am about 5 years younger and 2 kids less than what my parents had when they took us when we were younger, and I was pooped!!!  I don't know how my parents did it.  They are awesome, and were troopers, and I would love to first off thank them for making my childhood an awesome one.   Now on to our trip.  We had what was called the 4 day park hopper with Magic Morning passes, as well as a special invitation only Halloween Party pass.  This all means that the kids and Will and I walked the 1/2 mile from our hotel room to the front gate of Disneyland at 7am and didn't start walking home to the hotel ti midnight.  The kids and all of us were walking and on our feet for about 17 hours per day for four days in a row.  Can I just say that my doggies were howling and crying by the time we were done...they were way past barking.  However luckily none of my doggies or anyone elses for that matter had blisters!!  YEAH!!  Anyway, I personally think that we would have been just fine with two days of Disney and then one day at the beach to relax.  Lesson learned for next time.

Anyway I will slowly but surely put up all our photos of the trip.  SO keep watching for them.  I am so happy I got to spend such a magical experience with my loved ones.  It was a time to remember.

Gettin Excited...

** Insert squeals like a little girl here **  I am so excited for this next weekend. I think I may even be more excited than my children.  We are taking them to Disneyland.  I guess maybe I am more excited than they are because I know what Disneyland is like, and they haven't been there yet.  I have been reading on different websites all the tips and tricks to Disneyland, and what to bring to make it a better experience.

I never had to do that, since when I was last at Disneyland I was about 11 years old, and that was Eons ago.  Back when Michael Jackson was popular...speaking of which, one of my favorite shows is going to be back there.  Captain EO starring Michael Jackson is back at Disneyland.  I'm so excited.

I have been showing the kids U-tube videos of the rides, and telling them ll about Grandma Larsen and Grandpa Larsen's favorite rides and such.  They are getting excited.  I will be posting about our trip when we get back.  We will be leaving on Saturday morning about 8am, and getting to the hotel at about noon.  Then we will go to Disney and play from about 1 to midnight, and then two more full days there.  Then Tuesday we will check out of the hotel, and spend the day at Silver Strand Beach, and then go home later that afternoon.  I hope the kids will have tons of fun.  I know I will.
